Speaker: Ajay Mishra

Bio: Ajay brings approx. 15 years of experience in wireless and networking industry (Motorola, Cisco, Airespace, Interwave) where he has held several senior level positions in wireless business development, strategic alliances, product management and engineering.
Presently, Ajay is a senior manager at Cisco and responsible for wireless business development. Ajay came to Cisco as a result of Cisco’s acquisition of Airespace for $450M, where he was founder of the company. Ajay is currently focusing on major wireless initiatives: Wireless MESH Network, Dual-Mode and First Mile Wireless.
Ajay is former chair of Wi-Fi Cellular Convergence Marketing Task Group at Wi-Fi alliance. At Motorola, he was part of team that designed Motorola’s first GSM phone in 1990, later first CDMA handset in 1993.
Ajay has been a frequent speaker at industry events: CTIA, N+I, Fixed Mobile Conference, CableLab CTO Conference.
He holds an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago.
