Session Abstract:This panel session will explore current discussions within the WiMAX Forum on the technical dimensions of business opportunities in both current fixed applications and prospective mobile broadband. The program will highlight how equipment manufacturers and service providers can differentiate their WiMAX offerings by going beyond the standard "cookie-cutter" in WiMAX Forum(tm) certification. Attendees will learn how to differentiate their offerings, increasingly link budget and shorten development cycles by going beyond the minimum features required for certification. This session convening leader chip manufacturers at the forefront of the technology is aimed primarily at manufacturers, service providers, analysts and the news media. End-users and government officials also are a target audience.
